The international Eureka project titled “Reducing CO₂ Emissions in the Production of Cement-Based Construction Chemicals,” in which Prof. Dr. Taner Kavas, a faculty member of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Afyon Kocatepe University (AKÜ) Faculty of Engineering and Director of the Building Materials Application and Research Center, is a researcher, has been awarded funding by the European Union (EU).

The project, which has a duration of 35 months and a budget of €885,807, includes the following participants: Afyon Kocatepe University Building Materials Application and Research Center, Interdisciplinary Research Institute of the University of Belgrade, Weber Hungary, Miskolc University, Weber Serbia, and Weber Türkiye.
