At the Higher Education Executive Board meeting on November 5, 2014, it was decided, in accordance with Article 43/b of Law No. 2547, as amended by Law No. 2880, and taking into account the opinion of the Interuniversity Council, that graduates of the Ceramic Engineering Department can apply to the same positions as graduates of Metallurgy Engineering, Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and Materials Engineering departments during the KPSS (Public Personnel Selection Examination) recruitment process, and that it is appropriate for the said program to be included within the 4691 code field in the qualification code guide.
